Moss Agate 

Moss Agate is admired for its delicate green, moss-like patterns that appear suspended within the stone. These natural inclusions create organic designs resembling plants, landscapes, or branches, giving each piece a calm and earthy appearance.

Because of its distinctive internal patterns and durability, Moss Agate is commonly used for polished stones, cabochons, beads, carvings, and decorative objects. Every piece looks like a small natural landscape captured inside the crystal.

Moss Agate is a variety of chalcedony, a microcrystalline form of quartz (SiO₂). The moss-like patterns are caused by iron or manganese mineral inclusions, not plant material. Despite its name, Moss Agate usually lacks the typical banding seen in most agates and is sometimes classified simply as chalcedony.
