Dumortierite
Dumortierite is recognized for its deep blue to violet-blue tones and its fibrous, sometimes speckled texture. It often appears in massive form or as inclusions within quartz, giving the stone a distinctive and sometimes denim-like appearance.
Because of its rich color and durability, Dumortierite is used for polished stones, beads, cabochons, and collector specimens. Its natural variations in tone and texture make each piece visually unique.
