Bumblebee Jasper

Bumblebee Jasper is known for its bold yellow, orange, black, and sometimes white banded patterns that resemble the colors of a bumblebee. Its striking contrast and layered appearance make it one of the most eye-catching ornamental stones.

Because of its vivid colors and unique patterns, Bumblebee Jasper is commonly used for polished stones, cabochons, carvings, and decorative objects. Each piece displays natural banding formed through complex geological processes.

Fact & Fun Fact:
Despite its name, Bumblebee Jasper is not a true jasper. It is a mixture of volcanic material, primarily composed of calcite, sulfur, arsenic-bearing minerals (such as realgar and orpiment), and other components. It forms in volcanic environments in Indonesia. Due to the presence of arsenic minerals, raw material should be handled with care and not inhaled as dust.
