Brandberg Amethyst
Physical Information
Brandberg Amethyst comes from the area around the Brandberg mountain in Namibia, the highest mountain in the country. What makes it special is that a single crystal often combines amethyst, smoky quartz and clear quartz in different zones.
Many Brandberg crystals are exceptionally clear and contain beautiful inner features such as phantoms (the ghost-like outline of an earlier crystal inside), inclusions and sometimes tiny water bubbles (enhydros). Because each crystal is so different and the deposits are small, Brandberg quartz is one of the most sought-after amethysts among collectors.
Metaphysical Properties
Brandberg Amethyst is known as a master healer. It is believed to combine the calm, intuitive energy of amethyst, the protection and grounding of smoky quartz and the amplifying clarity of clear quartz. Many people use it for meditation, deep healing and spiritual growth.
It is associated with the crown and third-eye chakras and is often used to raise awareness, connect to one's higher self and bring the whole energy body into balance.
