Atlantisite
Physical Information
Atlantisite is a natural combination of two minerals: green Serpentine and purple-pink Stichtite. The soft lilac Stichtite appears as patches and swirls in the green Serpentine, creating a unique pattern in every piece.
It comes from Tasmania, Australia, which is still the main source of this stone. The name was given in honour of the legendary lost city of Atlantis. Atlantisite is a fairly soft stone, so it is best cleaned with a soft, dry cloth.
Metaphysical Properties
Atlantisite is known as a stone of calm and inner peace. The Serpentine is traditionally associated with grounding and renewal, while Stichtite is linked to gentleness, love and emotional balance. Together they are believed to help reduce stress, soothe the mind and support a positive outlook.
It is associated with the heart and crown chakras and is often used in meditation, to connect with ancient wisdom and to encourage spiritual growth.
