Burmese Jade Bracelet - 8mm/17cm
Burmese Jade
Burmese Jade is admired for its rich green tones, smooth texture, and refined appearance. It can range from soft, pale green to deep, vivid emerald shades, often with a slightly translucent quality that enhances its beauty.
Because of its durability and elegant look, Burmese Jade is widely used for carvings, beads, cabochons, jewelry, and decorative objects. High-quality pieces are especially valued for their color, translucency, and fine texture.
✨ Fact & Fun Fact:
Burmese Jade refers primarily to jadeite, a sodium aluminum silicate (NaAlSi₂O₆), which is the rarer and more valuable form of jade. The most famous deposits are found in Myanmar (Burma), especially in the Hpakant region. Jadeite forms under high-pressure conditions in subduction zones. The finest variety, known as “Imperial Jade,” is highly translucent and intensely green due to trace chromium.
