Sakura Agate is a variety of chalcedony (microcrystalline quartz, SiO₂). The flower-like patterns are formed by mineral inclusions, often creating plume or orb-like structures during crystal growth. The blue coloration is typically enhanced or dyed, as natural sakura agate is usually found in more neutral tones. Most material comes from Madagascar.
