Prophecy Stone, sometimes referred to as Z-Stone, is a rare pseudomorph crystal found mainly in the Sahara Desert of Egypt.
It forms when limonite, hematite, and goethite gradually replace the structure of a former mineral—usually marcasite or pyrite—while preserving the original crystal shape.
This process creates heavy, metallic-looking formations with dark brown or deep earthy tones.
The stone is dense, durable, and known for its unusual texture that resembles old meteorite fragments.
